DAIDO MORYIAMA

My first photographer is Daido Moriyama. He was born in 1938 in Osaka, Japan and had a twin brother who dies when they were two. His main purpose in his photography is to show the dark side of urban life and contrast the shadow and light in his photos. He studies under Takeji Iwamiya and has a rough, grainy, out of focus feel. Daido has won many awards for his photos, released hundreds of exhibitions around the world, and he is still photographing today.
